? About Scott Christensen

Scott Christensen is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under the Renzo Gracie lineage and the founder and head instructor of Renzo Gracie Ponce in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

With over 20 years of training experience, Scott is known for his fundamentals-driven approach to building technically sound grapplers. Since opening his academy in 2023, he has quickly developed one of the top emerging programs in Puerto Rico—producing strong competitors and a thriving martial arts community.

His teaching emphasizes:
